正电子冲击下氦电离三重微分截面的理论计算

我们发展了一种正电子碰撞原子电离的畸变波Born近似方法， 在这个方法中，正负电子偶素通道通过一个ab initio的光学势附加到入射粒子和靶的相互作用势上，且通道对电离作用被第一次被考虑在正电子碰撞原子电离的过程中. 应用这个方法计算了在50 eV入射能量范围氦的电离的三重微分截面，计算结果和实验数据很好的符合.

Melatonin stimulates aromatase expression and estradiol production in human granulosa-lutein cells: relevance for high serum estradiol levels in patients with ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome

Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is one of the most life-threatening and potentially fatal complications associated with controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) during in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. Although the pathogenesis of OHSS remains unclear, elevated serum estradiol (E2) levels before human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) administration are associated with the risk of OHSS. The pineal hormone melatonin and its receptors are expressed in human granulosa cells and have been shown to stimulate E2 production. However, the effect of melatonin on the expression of aromatase, an enzyme responsible for a key step in the biosynthesis of E2, in human granulosa cells remains to be determined. Here, we demonstrate that melatonin upregulates aromatase expression in primary cultured human granulosa-lutein (hGL) cells through the melatonin receptor-mediated PKA-CREB pathway. Using a mouse model of OHSS, we demonstrate that administration of the melatonin receptor inhibitor luzindole inhibits the development of OHSS. In addition, the expression of ovarian aromatase and serum E2 levels are upregulated in OHSS mice compared to control mice, but this upregulation is attenuated by inhibition of the function of melatonin. Moreover, clinical results reveal that aromatase expression levels are upregulated in hGL cells from OHSS patients. Melatonin and E2 levels in the follicular fluid are significantly higher in OHSS patients than in non-OHSS patients. Furthermore, melatonin levels are positively correlated with E2 levels in follicular fluid. This study helps to elucidate the mechanisms mediating the expression of aromatase in hGL cells and provides a potential mechanism explaining the high E2 levels in patients with OHSS.Subject terms: Endocrine reproductive disorders, Endocrine reproductive disorders     

Surface modification of polyolefin separators for lithium ion batteries to reduce thermal shrinkage without thickness increase

Surface chemical modification of polyolefin separators for lithium ion batteries is attempted to reduce the thermal shrinkage, which is important for the battery energy density. In this study, we grafted organic/inorganic hybrid crosslinked networks on the separators, simply by grafting polymerization and condensation reaction. The considerable silicon-oxygen crosslinked heat-resistance networks are responsible for the reduced thermal shrinkage. The strong chemical bonds between networks and separators promise enough mechanical support even at high temperature. The shrinkage at 150 C for 30 min in the mechanical direction was 38.6% and 4.6% for the pristine and present graft-modified separators, respectively. Meanwhile, the grafting organic-inorganic hybrid crosslink networks mainly occupied part of void in the internal pores of the separators, so the thicknesses of the graft-modified separators were similar with the pristine one. The half cells prepared with the modified separators exhibited almost identical electrochemical properties to those with the commercial separators, thus proving that, in order to enhance the thermal stability of lithium ion battery, this kind of grafting-modified separators may be a better alternative to conventional silica nanoparticle layers-coated polyolefin separators.     

A Phosphorescent Platinum(II) Bipyridyl Supramolecular Polymer Based on Quadruple Hydrogen Bonds

A platinum(II) bipyridyl complex bearing bis‐ureidopyrimidinone (Pt‐bisUPy) has been designed and its self‐assembling behavior has been thoroughly investigated by ¹H NMR, DOSY NMR, Ubbelohde viscometry analysis, UV/Vis, and emission spectroscopies. Pt‐bisUPy underwent concentration‐dependent ring‐chain polymerization in apolar solvents. Hydrogen‐bonding interactions play an important role during the formation of the supramolecular polymers. Hydrogen‐bonded supramolecular polymers were transformed to nanoparticles in water through the miniemulsion method. These nanoparticles showed strong π–π excimeric emission. Metal‐metal‐to‐ligand charge transfer (MMLCT) from Pt–Pt interactions was not significant in the emission spectrum. The phosphorescence of the nanoparticle persisted even under aerobic conditions. The triplet state of these phosphorescent nanomaterials were long‐lived and possessed moderate emission quantum yields. Furthermore, the low toxicity of these materials promises a place for them in in vitro and in vivo bioimaging.
